At the heart of our profession

The care of elderly patients has many specific characteristics, requiring an adapted approach.

For this purpose, an oncogeriatrics unit has been created. The oncogeriatrics team consists of specialist doctors: oncologist, geriatrician, support care, psychologist, dietician, social worker.

How?

The admission of any aged patient must begin with a general evaluation of the patient, their illness, their state of general and psychological health, their regular medication and the family environment… these evaluations are regularly repeated during the treatment.
