Short Stay Hospitalisation Unit (SSHU)

The Emergency Ward has its own Short Stay Hospitalisation Unit (SSHU) with 7 beds.

Patients can be hospitalised there for observation, the initiation of treatment or further testing.

After hospitalisation patients will be referred on to:

  • one of the hospital’s other wards or units,
  • another health care establishment,
  • or allowed to return home.

Practical information

  • Visits are allowed between midday and 8pm
